Biography
Mr Murthy obtained his Primary qualification from Kakatiya University, India, following which he completed his General Surgical training from NTR University of Health Sciences, India. He completed his Junior surgical training in Yorkshire and did research in Breast cancer from 2002-2004. During this time he looked at the effects of wound healing on the outcomes of breast cancer and had several presentations and published articles in Peer reviewed journals. He then did a surgical fellow job in Breast surgery at St James’ hospital in Leeds and was appointed as staff surgeon in Lancashire Teaching Hospitals in 2007. In 2009 he became an Associate specialist and was appointed as Locum consultant breast surgeon in Jan 2012. He has extensive experience and life time interest in breast surgery and oncoplastic procedures including therapeutic mammoplasty and all forms of breast reconstructions.
