Throughout the year we run a number of events for members including our Annual Members’ Meeting.
As a member you will be invited to regular members’ events where you can find out more about what goes on at our hospitals.
Currently membership events and talks are postponed due to the levels of Covid-19 in both the local area and within our hospitals. The health and safety of the public and staff is paramount. Details of future events will be published in due course.
Annual Members’ Meeting
The Annual Members' Meeting (AMM) is the trust's AGM (annual general meeting).
The trust must hold an AMM. At least one of the directors must present the trust’s annual report and accounts, and any report of the auditor on the accounts, to members at this meeting.
The meeting brings together members, governors, directors, as well as the chairman of Lancashire Teaching Hospitals.
The trust's senior leaders respond to questions from trust members, patients, and the public and it is the members’ chance to make sure the council of governors, who are elected to hold the trust to account, are truly representing their interests.
The next Annual members' Meeting will be held on Thursday 26th September from 2pm - 4pm at
Lancashire Conservation Studios, St Mary's St, Preston, PR1 5LN. Find out more here.
