Biography
I graduated from the University of Manchester in 1998. After general medical training within the North West and Yorkshire, I completed my specialist oncology training in Yorkshire (Cookridge Hospital and St James Institute of Oncology, Leeds). I spent a year as a Clinical Research Fellow at Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto, where my research focused on technical radiotherapy for breast and gynaecological cancers, including IMRT and brachytherapy.
I moved to Lancashire, and my current post, in 2009.
I currently treat patients diagnosed with colorectal cancer at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals and treat patients from Preston/Chorley, East Lancashire, Blackpool and the Fylde Coast and Morecambe Bay as part of the regional anal cancer service. I also treat patients with breast cancer from Morecambe Bay.
