Qualified from Oxford University (1990). Completed post graduate training in Oxford and Newcastle-upon-Tyne. University Lecturer and Honorary Senior Registrar in Nephrology (1996-2000). Appointed Consultant Renal Physician for Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2000.
Clinical responsibilities at both Preston and Chorley hospital sites.
