Biography
Dr Mehdi trained in the North West Deanery and started working as a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals in 2016.
As Trust lung cancer lead, Syed's specialist interest includes Lung cancer and interventional pulmonology. He also does general thoracic outpatients and performs endoscopic procedures including EBUS and pleural procedures.
Dr Mehdi is RCP tutor for Royal Preston Hospital and looks after post graduate training in Medicine. He has a keen interest in teaching both undergraduate and post-graduate doctors.
