A new self-service tool to help patients get the right care, at the right time
Patients who walk into the Urgent Care Centre or Emergency Department at Chorley and South Ribble Hospital are being asked to use the self-service tool. The tool will:
- guide you through a series of questions;
- help you check your symptoms;
- help reduce waiting times; and
- provide information about what to do next; this may involve speaking to a member of the clinical team and then being directed to the reception desk.
Please go directly to reception if:
- you have been given a booked arrival time;
- you have been referred to the Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Clinic; or
- you are accompanying a child under five years old.
Members of staff are available to help if you experience any difficulties using the self-service tool.
