Royal Preston Hospital has received a large donation of Easter eggs for its paediatric unit as a part of a donation from five star builder Barratt Homes.
The hospital, which is close to the housebuilder’s developments Bowland Meadow and Highgate Park in Preston, was delighted to receive the donation.
A range of Easter eggs were donated, including large, small, white chocolate, milk chocolate, as well as a range for anyone who may be vegan or lactose intolerant.
Roya Armstrong, Fundraising Coordinator at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity, said: “We were overwhelmed to see the mountain of Easter Eggs when they were delivered to our children’s clinic earlier this week! Thank you so much once again to Barratt Homes for this incredibly kind gesture, which will no doubt bring many smiles to the faces of our patients across the Easter period. We are so grateful for your support”.
The Preston hospital provides a wide range of emergency, elective and specialist healthcare services to 370,000 local people and 1.5 million people across Lancashire and South Cumbria.
