Join us for Walk the Wheel, a brand-new fundraising event following the scenic route of the Guild Wheel around Preston.
Choose your challenge and take on 5, 10, or the full 21-mile route, all while raising vital funds for Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity. Take part with friends, family or colleagues and enjoy a great day out while supporting patients, families and staff across our hospitals.
The walk will start at Toll Bar Cottage Community Café at 8am, joining the Guild Wheel, a 21-mile (34 km) circular route around Preston. The route is mostly traffic-free, made up of off-road paths and quiet lanes, making it suitable for all abilities and families.

Children under 12 can take part for free but must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Support a cause close to your heart
When you register, you can choose to support any area of the Trust, including Children’s Services, MND, the Burns Unit, the SAFE Centre, or another ward or department that means something to you. We encourage participants to raise sponsorship for their chosen area of the charity – every pound raised helps fund projects, equipment and services that make a difference to patients across our hospitals.
