Peel Tower Abseil 2024

Peel Tower, Holcombe, Bury, BL8 4NR

Fundraising has reached new heights! Will you pledge to go over the edge for our hospital charity?

Our first fundraising challenge of the year is back! Join us on Saturday 23rd March to abseil down one of Bury’s most famous Landmarks, sat on Holcombe Hill, high above Greater Manchester with views overlooking the towns of Ramsbottom and Bury.

We have a limited number of places for this year’s abseil down the historic Peel Tower monument in Bury. Descending a drop of 128ft to raise funds towards important charity projects across our hospitals, this could be the perfect challenge to kick start 2024!

Registration is just £30 and includes the abseil experience with Alternative Adventure plus a charity t-shirt and medal. All participants are asked to raise a minimum sponsorship of £50 which will help us to continue supporting patients, visitors, and staff well-being across Lancashire Teaching Hospitals.

Time slots for the abseil start at 9am and run throughout the day in 10-minute intervals.

We would love for you to help raise as much as you can in sponsorship. The money raised, however small or large, will make a huge difference, so please visit www.justgiving.com/lancashireteachinghospitals to set up your online fundraising page or click here to download our sponsorship form.

After the success of last year’s event, we have invited our affiliated charity Baby Beat to join our first epic fundraising challenge of 2024. Allowing supporters of Baby Beat to raise funds for mothers and babies across Lancashire and South Cumbria. To register on behalf of Baby Beat click here to find out more information!

If you are entering to support Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity, you can choose to fundraise in support of our Children’s Appeal or any other ward/department at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, just remember to let us know when signing up.

Don’t miss out on this experience of a lifetime in support of the departments and people that mean the world to you!

FWP is delighted to sponsor this event in support of Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity and the great work they do. Good luck to all taking part in the abseil.
