Take on the highest mountain in Wales for Rosemere in this trek with a difference!
Trekking 1,085m up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) is a great challenge during the day, but by using torches to light our way and having the moon as our backdrop, summiting the mountain at night time brings another sense of achievement to an already recognised charity trek.
Seeing the sun rise across Snowdonia National Park will be a memory never forgotten – and of course, you’ll be helping to raise crucial funds in support of local cancer care.
Itinerary:
Sat 1st August: We meet in Llanberis in the evening for event registration and briefing. Walking straight to the starting point we use the Llanberis Path and our ascent should take approximately 3 – 4 hours, using our head torches to light our way.
Sun 2nd August: We celebrate our achievement on the summit and begin our descent using the same trail. The descent will take approx. 2-3 hours and upon reaching our finish line in Llanberis, we celebrate with a well-earned breakfast.
The trekking distance is approximately nine miles.
