Annual Members Meeting 2026

We are pleased to invite you to the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Annual Members' Meeting (AMM) 2025/2026.

The meeting will take place on Monday 5 October 2026, 2pm – 4pm in the Sir Tom Finney Room at The County Ground, Thurston Road, Leyland, PR25 2LF.

The AMM gives members the chance to hear from the Trust’s Executive Team and Chair as they present the 2025/2026 Annual Report and Accounts. Members can find out more about the work of our teams over the past year. 

Key highlights will include:

• Annual Review 2025-2026 - presented by Katie Foster-Greenwood, Chief Operating Officer 
• Annual Accounts 2025-2026 - presented by Craig Carter, Chief Finance Officer 
• Council Overview from our Governors - presented by Graham Robinson, Lead Governor
• Q&A session - chaired by Silas Nicholls, Chief Executive Officer 
• Keynote speaker presentations 
• Session close - chaired by Silas Nicholls, Chief Executive Officer and Adrian Leather, Vice Chair

The session will be free to attend with free parking and refreshments also available.

Those who wish to attend do not need to register their attendance in advance. Simply turn up on the day.

If you can't make the session, please don't worry. The meeting will be recorded and uploaded to the Trust website to watch back.

DIRECTIONS TO THE VENUE

The County Ground is located in Leyland, one mile from the M6 motorway.

By Car

From the East (M65):

• Join the M65 and continue to Clayton-le-Woods. At junction 1, exit onto M6 towards Liverpool/M58/Birmingham.
• At junction 28, take the B5256 exit to Leyland.
• Turn left onto Leyland Way/B5256, and at the roundabout, take the 1^st exit onto King Street/ B5254.
• After 0.2 miles, turn left and your destination will be on your right.

From the West (A565):

• Join the A565.
• At the roundabout, take the 2^nd exit on Water Lane/A565 and continue for 1 mile.
• At the next roundabout, take the 2bd exit onto Southport New Road/A565.
• Continue for another 4 miles and continue onto Windgate/A59 for an additional mile.
• At the roundabout, take the 1^st exit onto Liverpool Road/A59.
• At the following roundabout, take the 3^rd exit onto Longton By-Pass/A59.
• Continue onto Midge Hall Lane for a mile, then turn left onto Longmeanygate. At the roundabout, take the 1^st exit and stay on Longmeanygate, then continue onto Reiver Road.
• At the roundabout, take the 1^st exit onto Comet Road. At the following roundabout, take the 3^rd exit onto Longmeanygate/B5256.
• After 1 mile, turn right onto School Lane, and at the roundabout, continue straight onto Towngate.
• Next, turn left onto King Street/B5254. Take the first right, and the County Ground will be on your right.

From the North (M6 South):

• Join the M6 following signs for M6 (S)/Preston/Blackpool/M55.
• Follow the M6 to Clayton-le-Woods. At junction 28, take the B5256 exit to Leyland.
• Turn left onto Leyland Way/B5256.
• At the roundabout, take the 1^st exit onto King Street/B5254.
• After 0.2 miles, turn left, and the County Ground will be on your right.

From the South (M6 North):

• Join the M6 towards Wigan/Preston. Follow the M6 to Leyland.
• At junction 28, take the B5256 exit to A49/Leyland.
• Turn left onto Leyland Way/B5256.
• At the roundabout, take the 1^st exit onto King Street/B5254, then after 0.2 miles, turn left. The County Ground will then be on your right.

By Bus

• The buses serving the County Ground are:

               No. 109 (Preston – Chorley)

               No. 111 (Preston – Leyland)
