Allergy Services
The Allergy team provides services for the following conditions:
- Seasonal Rhinitis (hay fever)
- Rhinitis due to dust mites, pets, or other allergies
- Hives/Urticaria
- Allergic swelling (Angioedema)
- Food allergy (immediate type, like a peanut allergy)
- Antibiotic and other drug allergies
- Anaesthetic allergies
- Bee or wasp sting allergies
- Latex allergy
- Anaphylaxis
Clinical Immunology Services
Our Clinical Immunology Services offer diagnoses and treatments for a range of immunological conditions.
- Diagnosis and treatment of patients with Primary Antibody Deficiency and C1 Inhibitor Deficiency (both hereditary and acquired)
- A home therapy training programme for Subcutaneous and Intravenous Immunoglobulin for Immunodeficiency, C1 Inhibitor Replacement Therapy, and/or Icatibant Therapy for Hereditary Angioedema
- The investigation of patients with suspected immune deficiency, recurrent infections and other immunological conditions (complement deficiency, combined immunodeficiency, and Di George Syndrome)

- General Practitioners can request triage through the Choose and Book system
- Referrals letters from external hospitals may be addressed to department
