Imaging / Radiology
The majority of hospital patients require a scan or test to help diagnose illness or to assess their condition.
The Imaging Department provides a wide range of scans and tests, and minimally invasive image guided procedures (interventional radiology), to help diagnose and treat illness, including CT (computerised tomography), MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), x-rays, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine (application of radioactive materials).
You can access the Imaging Department via a referral from your GP.
