The season of Lent represents Christ’s time of temptation in the wilderness, where he fasted and was tempted by the Devil. In each of the six weeks of Lent, we will ask what the season means to various members of staff, and next up is Kirsten Walthall, Consultant in Emergency Medicine, who said: “For me, Lent is a time of preparation for the new beginnings of Easter, a time for personal reflection and self discipline.”
