Professor Munavvar is hosting an Eid dinner to raise fund for Rosemere Cancer Foundation

Rosemere Cancer Foundation would like to thank our very own Professor Mohammed Munavvar, who is hosting a special Eid Dinner to raise funds for the cancer charity. The even is taking place on the 18th July at the Imperial Banqueting Suite, St Mary's Street North, Preston.

Following dinner, there will be short, informative presentations from Professor Munavvar, who is chair of the European Respiratory Society’s Interventional Pulmonology Group, immediate past president of the European Association of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology and a former president of the British Thoracic Society.

Professor Munavvar, who spearheaded the Royal Preston Hospital’s COVID-19 response, said: “Over the last two decades, thousands of local patients with lung cancer and other respiratory diseases have benefitted from the hundreds of thousands of pounds I have received from Rosemere Cancer Foundation to bring the latest in diagnostic technology to Preston.

"There is a new navigational bronchoscopy tool coming out that I am hoping to acquire that I will briefly introduce in my presentation.”

The dinner is open to all, so if you fancy joining us and Professor Munavvar on the evening, tickets cost £30 for adults and £20 for U12s and can be reserved via
