Career History: Graduated from Trivandrum Medical School, South India (1989). Completed MS Orth in Orthopaedics. Undertook higher surgical training in trauma and orthopaedic surgery in the Northwest Deanery. Developed an interest in foot and ankle surgery whilst Senior House Officer in Orthopaedics at Bolton. Spent a year in Belfast to gain further experience in trauma, including six months at the Limb Reconstruction Unit. Completed Foot and Ankle Fellowship, Wrightington Hospital. Granted a Fellowship of the British Foot and Ankle Society then gained experience in ankle arthroscopic surgery. Currently working as a Consultant in Orthopaedics for Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
