Career History: Mr Varadarajan graduated from the University of Nottingham Medical School. The research portion of his Bachelor’s degree in Medical Science honours degree was conducted in translational molecular biology research at the Institute of Cellular Signalling.
Basic Surgical and Higher Surgical Training was undertaken on the Manchester specialty training program in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
Following completion of specialist training he was awarded a UK fellowship in Rhinology, training with Professor Hisham Khalil at University Hospitals Plymouth. After this, he was awarded an International clinical fellowship at the renowned University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada training in advanced endoscopic and skull base surgery.
Specialist Interests: Rhinology (general), Endoscopic surgery; Computer Assisted Image Guided Surgery, Frontal Sinus Surgery, Skull Base surgery
Research Interests: Rhinology, Endoscopic Surgery, Immunomodulation, Non-Pharmaceutical Strategies for health improvement. Numerous international, national and regional presentations and has produced over 20 peer reviewed publications (inc. abstracts).
