Our member of staff has been recognised for the improvements that she has made to patient flow.

Sarah McMullan, Senior Sister for the Critical Care Unit at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals has been named as a finalist for the Sarah Brookfield award from the Critical Care Network for leading the implementation of a vast range of projects to improve patient flow in the Critical Care Unit at Royal Preston Hospital.

Praise for apprenticeship success

We are pleased to announce that we have been recognised in the prestigious Centrica Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer list.
Each year, we provide 200 apprenticeships across the organisation, in an array of departments. Many of these positions are not traditionally associated with a hospital environment such as catering and hospitality or accountancy, as well as the more conventional roles such as health care support.
