Lancashire Teaching Hospitals working towards reopening Chorley and South Ribble Emergency Department in September 2020

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust today confirmed that its Board had taken a formal decision to work towards a September 2020 date for the reopening of the Emergency Department (ED) at Chorley and South Ribble Hospital.

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity opens second NHS Heroes Support Hub for staff in Chorley

A satellite NHS Heroes Support Hub has opened in Chorley, where staff of Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust can access food, drink and toiletries free of charge. With social distancing rules in place, the Hub at Chorley is managed by volunteers, and is open on Wednesdays and Fridays from 12 noon to 5pm.
