Martin Myers, Clinical Director of Pathology and Consultant Clinical Scientist at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said, “I am proud and delighted to have been awarded an MBE in the Queen’s new year’s honours list for services to healthcare science.
“I have been in this field for more than thirty years, and have been fortunate to have received great support from colleagues around the country during that time as we have worked together to modernise healthcare science.
“This honour is recognition of a real team effort, and I’d like to thank the pathology staff and management team here at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust who have been instrumental in improving this service for patients.”
