Improving outcomes for people with motor neurone disease in Lancashire

The Lancashire Health and Wellbeing Board has adopted the motor neurone disease (MND) Charter, thanks to a joint effort by people living with MND and volunteers in Lancashire, the Lancashire and South Cumbria Motor Neurone Disease Care and Research Centre at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and the MND Association.

Indian Minister meets global learner nurses

The Hon. T.P. Ramakrishnan, Minister for Labour and Excise in Government of Kerala, India, made a visit to the north west of England this week to meet with nurses from Kerala State working and training in England as part of Health Education England’s (HEE) global learners scheme that offers overseas nurses a safe, ethical and supported route into training and practice within the NHS.
