Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity opens second NHS Heroes Support Hub for staff in Chorley

A satellite NHS Heroes Support Hub has opened in Chorley, where staff of Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust can access food, drink and toiletries free of charge. With social distancing rules in place, the Hub at Chorley is managed by volunteers, and is open on Wednesdays and Fridays from 12 noon to 5pm.

Local family procures 5,400 antibody tests for NHS staff at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals

In an incredible show of support for their local NHS, a family from Preston has donated 5,400 antibody testing kits worth £50,000 for the benefit of staff at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. This is the latest donation from the Bhailok family, who have already given £50,000 to the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity towards their Critical Care Appeal and also to support the NHS Hero Care Packs for the frontline.
