Career history:
Graduated from medical school in India 1992 and having obtained an MD degree in 1995 from All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Board certification in Ophthalmology in 1997 moved to the UK. Trained in the UK as SHO, Specialist Registrar, Honorary Lecturer and Fellow at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Moorfields Eye Hospital London, St James Hospital Leeds and Bristol Eye Hospital. Have been a consultant since 2007 and joined LTHTR in 2010. National Editor, Royal College of Ophthalmologists E-learning project. Honorary Secretary, Chair of the governing council and Trustee, North of England Ophthalmological Society.
