How to Apply
If you are interested using the the NIHR Lancashire Clinical Research Facility, we encourage you to contact us informally to discuss your requirements. We are happy to offer tours and demonstrations of our equipment before applying to use our facilities. Please contact our CRF Manager for further information
To register an application, please contact the CRF Manager. It is important you submit a study protocol and as much supporting documentation as possible. For CTIMP’s, we will need a copy of the Investigator Brochure.
All requests to undertake clinical research in the Lancashire CRF must be approved by the CRF Medical Director, CRF Deputy Medical Director and the CRF Manager. All fully complete applications will be reviewed within 14 days. Each project will be assessed on the:
- Availability of resources
- Existing activity within the CRF
- Scientific value of the research question.
