Your food and drink are an important part of your treatment, as well as being enjoyable. You can choose what you would like from our daily menu. The menu has been carefully compiled to offer a range of dishes for varying tastes and appetites. There is always a range of vegetarian dishes available.
If you require a therapeutic diet them some dishes may be modified to meet your requirements. If you have an special or religious dietary requirements, please inform a member of staff as this can be provided.
Following nutritional guidance to reduce our salt intake, food is cooked using only a little salt.
It may be necessary to restrict or modify what you eat and drink, either as part of your treatment or before an operation or test.
Please let a member of staff know if you have missed a meal for any reason. Drinks, snacks and cereals are always available on the wards and snack boxes are available 24 hours per day from the Catering Department.
Further information about catering services is available on the Patientline information video.
Please do not bring meals in from home unless you have checked that staff allow it.
