Translation Services
If you are coming into hospital and your first language is not English and you need a translator to help you speak to doctors and nurses, ask a relative or friend to tell your nurse as soon as possible. The Trust uses a telephone translation service and the nurses will do their best to make arrangements to provide this for you.
A multi lingual phrase book is also available in each ward. The Trust also uses a web-based communication programme in a range of languages.
