Visitors play an important part in the care and recovery of patients. The Trust actively encourages visiting and the involvement of carers while patients are in hospital.
Visiting times are as follows:
Afternoons: 2.30pm to 4pm
Evenings: 6pm to 8pm
Only three visitors are to be at the bedside at any one time.
Exceptions to this policy will be considered on an individual patient basis, taking into account the severity of the patient’s condition, special family circumstances and the distance family may need to travel. Please ask a member of the nursing staff if you require any further information about visiting.
