Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks to involve people patients, public and staff wherever possible.

The Trust has over 20,000 Foundation Trust members.  This allows local people, patients and staff to play an active role in the way services are delivered and developed in the future.

Members vote in regular elections to the Trust’s Governing Council.  Listening events and other activities provide additional opportunities to involve and engage the public in service planning and development.

There are also opportunities to volunteer at the Trust in a wide range of services and departments.
