Welcome to the Simulation Centre.
This unit offers a state of the art training facility available for use by undergraduate and postgraduate training as well as multi-disciplinary training for nursing and allied health professionals.
The high fidelity manikins are controlled from a central, covert control room,monitored by the trainer out of sight of the trainees. As well as the training areas there is a separate observation room complete with audio visual monitoring,which allows students not actively involved in a scenario to observe and decide upon their own clinical management plan.
This room can be used for real time feedback of any training undertaken in the clinical areas as all sessions can be monitored and recorded .
