The Library and Information Service will provide the best information resources possible to support the Trust in providing the best healthcare.
This will be achieved by:
- Ensuring that all NHS staff have access to up-to-date and reliable sources of information relevant to their clinical, management, educational and research needs
- Encouraging the effective use of information sources in all media
- Providing effective methods of training for end-users to ensure that they know how to access and use the information sources available
