The Sixth Basic Bronchoscopy Course

A basic one day course to provide beginners with all the essential principles involved in the practice of bronchoscopy, besides detailed instruction on the correct method of various sampling techniques. Topics include: indications, normal and variant anatomy, patient preparation, sedation, sterilisation and handling of scopes, various sampling procedures, BAL, TBB, prevention and management of complications. This course is suitable for Junior SpRs, Senior SHOs, Bronchoscopy Nurses, Technicians, Physiotherapists and others involved in bronchoscopy.
